Xerdes is the latter.

Gifted with guile and ability beyond his years, the intrepid young filcher was trained from youth to walk the treacherous 'Shadowpath' without faltering. To stumble even once meant instant death or capture. Xerdes never stumbles.

Xerdes stalks the same streets as civilians and society types, but he persists in a different world entirely. Theirs is a Vale of high towers, parades and holiday feasts. Of conquest, patriotism and powermongering.

His is the Vale of shadows. Of intrigue. A backstab symphony where every open pocket is an invitation and every locked door an unspoken challenge.

The Nightvale.

RAZÖRFIST was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. He produces several web series, including 'Film Noirchives', 'Metal Mythos', and the popular 'Rageaholic' review and commentary series. Prior to that, he studied Journalism and Political Science at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communications. The Long Moonlight is his ﬁrst published novel.
